Pathologies treated As part of the Medical Specialties Department, the dermatology consultation service provides consultations from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, on the fifth floor of the Tamaris Building, by appointment only.

The CHPG provides care for dermatological diseases, specifically:

  • Skin cancers (carcinomas and melanomas) with a dedicated treatment pathway through the Skin Tumor Center
  • Severe inflammatory conditions requiring treatment (eczema, psoriasis, Verneuil’s disease, chronic spontaneous urticaria, etc.)
  • Autoimmune diseases (alopecia, vitiligo, bullous dermatoses, etc.)
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Paediatric dermatology
  • Venous ulcers
  • Rarer dermatological conditions or conditions related to a general disease (lupus, scleroderma, etc.)

 

 clinical support  

  • UVA and UVB phototherapy cabin for medical purposes and photodynamic therapy
  • Two digital mole monitoring systems assisted by artificial intelligence (FotoFinfder® ATBM master 4th generation)
  • ISO 7 cleanroom for minor skin surgery
  • Privileged access to the laser unit at the University Centre for Laser Dermatology at the Hôpital de l’Archet 2; for medical purposes only (acne scars, rosacea, rhinophyma, xanthelasma, angiomas, etc.).

 

Allergological examinations are essentially the responsibility of the Pneumology Department.

Cosmetic procedures are not performed at the centre. The only medical use of botulinum toxin injections in hospital dermatology is for the treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis.
